Finished inside and out in timber and supported with a timber structure, this project was designed to be self-built by the client, a cabinet maker and one half of @wg_studios_london.
MASH were on board throughout the project as planning & design consultants and, occasionally, as an extra pair of hands on site.
The tight, overlooked, sloping site required prudent negotiation to balance privacy and daylight. Careful detailing enabled the exposure of the structure’s elegant, simple, sawn timber and glulam bones.
